FAQ – Sphynx Cat Care

Hairless cats require regular bathing, usually every 1–2 weeks. A proper Sphynx shampoo helps remove excess sebum without irritating the skin.
Hairless cats do not have fur to absorb sebum. Natural secretions remain on the skin, which is why it requires regular cleansing.
Absolutely not. Baby products are developed for human skin and are not adapted to feline physiology. They may contain substances that are dangerous if licked and do not properly regulate sebum production in hairless cats.
Gentle no-rinse cleansing gels and protective creams are helpful in keeping the skin in good condition between baths.
